Working alongside Blackford group in this spacious future holiday let, being located in a rural area, rising damp teased a bit of an issue, customer wanted this prevented before the building renovations and finishing work was carried out. We drilled holes spaced evenly apart all the way round the base of building and injected a silicone based damp proof sealant which penetrates into masonry creating a water proof barrier. We then used a waterproof sand and cement render to protect this building from rising damp with a guarantee lasting 10 years!
